My Modeling Journey.
I Started Modeling after Training to become Photographer. It gave me a different perspective to be in front of the Camera. Eventually after years of Modeling for Photographers and working on my Self Portrait work it developed into Modeling for Artists. Art Modeling is much different than Commercial and Runway. I’ve done Runway and Commercial Modeling but consider myself an Art Model to the core. It requires Patience and skill especially while posing nude in educational settings. I’ve model at University’s, Local Art Groups, and Many Professional Artists. I also Model for my Own self Portrait series that focuses on the female figure and Character Development. Self Portrait Work
My Self Portrait work has developed over the years and originated while studying Art in College. I fell in love with Character development and experimenting with Photography and Video. While studying different Photographers I grew especially attached to Cindy Shermans Work. Her Self Portraits inspired me to focus on myself as a subject out of convince and curiosity at first and then it became something that I embraced and focused on. My passion for creating self portraits helped grow my confidence both in front and behind the camera. Eventually it led me into the Painting and Drawing world as an Art Model after applying for Job that eventually connected to my modeling to Universities, Art Institutions and Professional Artists.
